Alligator fever

A new trend or a big comeback? Call it like you want  but alligator is back! More colorful, more edgy and definitely more fun than the old classical "grandma's handbag".

Last winter's fashion weeks where overwhelmed by it, from Coach to Tom Ford and not only in womens alligator wallets and purses but also belts (that we saw on Hermes' catwalk) and shoes.

I particularly like this collection from www.Farbodbarsum.com because of its colours,so bright and powerful. Even if the sun is not up in the sky just yet days are getting longer and we're all ready to think about sunsets on the beach and dinners in fancy garden-restaurants and even if we don't feel bold enough for a full on pink or orange outfit, a little pitch is needed and expressing our joy for summer through a colorful alligator skin handbag is just the easiest and cheapest way to feel even better on a good day.

The saturation of this collection is what really made me fall for it.. it's just not colours, it's so intense and it really puts a smile on my face thinking about pairing it with some shorts and tanned legs.

An other thing is that there's so many sizes and shapes and they're all alligator skin and in every colour. It's actually so rare to find a product that is actually like you wanted it.. how many times did we think.. oh yeah I like this shape but with that size and those colours it would have just been perfect..

Here's my first chapter of my new "series of wishlist" based on colours! I will basically pick a couple colours from a certain website for each chapter and show you the clothes I would buy from the category :D

The website of the day is uk.millybridal.org which is basically where you can find whatever you need for a celebration. From prom dresses to wedding dresses, to just elegant and sophisticated dresses for a special event. The thing I like the most is that for every model you will most likely find more than two colour variations which is great.. cause often we have a certain colour in mind for a garment and even if we like the model we have to adapt to some other shade cause they don't have it in "our colour". This is where I got the idea of doing a wishlist by colour as well.. since for each of them there were various options!

The first wishlist of 2017

A new year, a new wishlist from StyleWe. This time is all about short dresses with a pinch of holiday spirit and wintery taste. For this 2017 I decided I wanna look for some specific quality pieces instead of a bunch of clothes of which I would get tired after a week. One thing I've been looking for quite a while is a silk kimono that I finally found on stylewe in many variations. I once bought a silk kimono for a pound at a flea market and I felt in love with the idea of "silk night and home wear" and I've been looking for new pieces since then. I found some cool new pieces I wanna add to my collection also on just fashion now, give it a go if you're planning for a full on wardrobe restyling. Christmas wishlist from Stylewe

For Christmas we're al looking for glitters, shine and statement pieces.. so here's my Christmas wishlist from StyleWe, and it's not really a wishlist of what I'd like to get for Christmas but more of a list of things I'd love to have (and wear) during the holiday season! 

I tried to pick garments that can be dressed up or down based on the occasion of use, keeping it all in the classic tones of Christmas..which are of course red,gold,silver and black. I though of these handbags as well cause they can actually go with each of this outfits.. 

I am strictly convinced that we all already have what we're looking for in our wardrobe but we do not see it.. cause sometimes pairing pieces differently, mix patterns, colours and shapes can transform completely the face of a piece..and of course if we concede ourselves more combinations the result will only be more (and different) outfits to wear! 

By the way what do you start from when you pick your clothes for the days? 

I know it's not the most common thing but I usually start from the coat I wanna wear.. at least now that is freezing cold.. or from the accessories.. I'm so into huge earrings and they quite make the outfit    with a toned down kinda look and when I really want to wear a certain lip colour or particular eyes I start from it and develop the outfit around that!

BAGS WISHLIST FROM STYLEWE

Today's wishlist is all about bags! I don't think I've actually done a selection of bags I'd love to have on this blog before, and I actually am not really a bag person anyway. I mean.. I love a good bag and I actually stick to it till it's ripped and unusable anymore.. and since I'm right now in the situation of a much needed upgrade I've been in the haunt for a while. I could really use some fashion tips right.. especially on shapes, neutral colours and in general combination that can go with everything! I never really considered a backpack as a daily bag but I've selected a few cause I'd like to give it a try.. would you think? What's your ideal everyday-bag? By the way on this website there's a GREAT range of stuff.. and only bags.. you can find from the fanciest sweet 16 dresses to the most casual t-shirt.. give it a try! Pink is such a calming colour. Especially in this pastel (but bright) kinda shade. Weather you are looking for a cheap prom dress or just for a fancy dress for a party or a wedding. I do really think this is one of those colours with which you can't go wrong for any occasion.. It's not too flamboyant yet not anonymous, girly and classy and of course it depends on the details and the accessories you decide to pair it with based on the case of occasion. Most of them because of the shape and the materials are thought for a "more elegant event". But trow a pair of flat sandals on, wavy hair and a soft make up and you're perfect for a stylish night at the beach. Just add a pair of heels some bold lips and some statement jewels and you'll be the centre of attention at any kind of party. I mention my love for the colour orange almost in every post. I've already selected some orange pieces for a wishlist.. but it was a while ago and now I got some cool pieces in mind from stylewe. It's so overwhelming and quite creepy at the same time how much I can OBSESSED with a single colour!.. It's not even an usual colour to like.. how could you dislike something in orange?!
I usually got an orange coat and everybody says I look like a fireman, a carachter from orange is the new black or just a person with an annoiningly bright coat. I saw something VERY nice on this website as well (in terms of coats, I do understand that orange might be too much for some of you), have a look if you're looking to shop a long down coat.
